Compensation from the unemployment fund is paid monthly. To receive your payment, you need to submit a monthly application via Mina sidor. In order for the compensation to be paid out the month after you have reported, the application must be submitted no later than the 14th.

Register your bank account immediately

Register the bank account and bank where you want your compensation to be paid out with Swedbank. Do this when you apply for compensation – this way you avoid receiving a payment notice that costs money to redeem. You do not need to have an account with Swedbank; they are the ones coordinating the payment of compensation.

Tax adjustment with Skatteverket

If you want to adjust your tax for compensation from the unemployment fund, that works perfectly fine. You apply for the adjustment with Skatteverket. Please note that we do not automatically receive your decision from Skatteverket. Therefore, you need to upload the decision yourself in Mina sidor, and we will make sure to deduct the correct tax.

Payment date

Sometimes the compensation payment date is adjusted due to public holidays.
