Payment

The benefits from the unemployment insurance fund are paid out every Thursday, and to receive money, you must submit your time report in Mina sidor. To receive the payment as quickly as possible, you must submit your time report by Monday evening. Then you will receive the money on Thursday the same week. If you prefer monthly payments, you can submit four time reports at once.

Register your bank account right away

Register the bank account and bank where you want your benefits to be paid out via Swedbank. Do this when you apply for benefits – this way you avoid receiving a payment slip, which costs money to cash. You do not need to have an account with Swedbank; they are simply responsible for coordinating the payments.

Benefits are usually paid out on Thursdays, but due to public holidays, the schedule sometimes needs to be adjusted.

Tuesday, December 23: Time reports/monthly applications submitted for week 50 no later than December 18 will be paid on December 23.
Tuesday, December 30: Time reports/monthly applications submitted for week 51 no later than December 22 will be paid on December 30.

2026

Monday, January 5: Time reports/monthly applications submitted by December 30 will be paid on January 5.
Friday, January 9: Time reports/monthly applications submitted by January 6 will be paid on January 9.
Friday, April 10: Time reports/monthly applications submitted by April 6 will be paid on April 10.
Friday, May 15: Time reports/monthly applications submitted by May 11 will be paid on May 15.
Wednesday, December 23: Time reports/monthly applications submitted by December 20 will be paid on December 23.
Wednesday, December 30: Time reports/monthly applications submitted by December 27 will be paid on December 30.
