Submit an activity report to Arbetsförmedlingen every month

To continue receiving your unemployment benefits, you must submit an activity report to Arbetsförmedlingen every month. In the report, you list the jobs you’ve applied for and other activities you’ve done to find work. The report is an important part of your planning with Arbetsförmedlingen – and if it’s not submitted on time, you may lose your benefits. Make sure to click all the way through to the confirmation.

Report every month

Log in to Arbetsförmedlingen’s website at the beginning of each month and report your job-seeking activities from the previous month. The report must be submitted no later than the 14th.

Make sure you’ve actually submitted the report

It’s important that you truly submit the report. It may feel like a lot of clicks, and you should receive both a confirmation on the website and also in Arbetsförmedlingen’s Mina sidor (My Pages).

What counts as actively seeking work?

To be considered a jobseeker, you must actively apply for jobs and coordinate your activities with Arbetsförmedlingen. The requirements are that you:

  • Cooperate with your employment officer regarding the Planning (formerly the action plan).

  • Submit your activity report on time.

  • Stay in contact with Arbetsförmedlingen in the ways and at the times they have specified.

  • Apply for the jobs assigned to you by Arbetsförmedlingen.

  • Apply for jobs on your own initiative.

Why do you have to submit an activity report?

To receive the right support from Arbetsförmedlingen, they need to know which jobs you’ve applied for and what else you’ve done to find a new job. Together with your planning, the activity report serves as a solid foundation when you and your employment officer create a plan to help you find new work.

This happens if you miss the report

If you miss reporting your activities, we receive a message from Arbetsförmedlingen. We always get in touch if we receive such a message. This can happen:

  • 1st time: You receive a warning. The benefits are not affected.

  • 2nd time: Suspension from benefits for 1 day.

  • 3rd time: Suspension from benefits for 5 days.

  • 4th time: Suspension from benefits for 10 days.

  • 5th time: You lose the right to benefits until you have fulfilled a new work requirement.
