  • If you have most recently worked in Sweden, you may be allowed to combine employment and insurance periods in other EU / EEA countries or Switzerland with the work you have had here in order to meet the conditions for benefits.
  • There are no requirements for the work in Sweden to have a certain duration or character. A day's work can be enough for any employer.
  • You must be able to prove that the work meets the requirements of being paid work (that is, you pay tax), for example with an employer's certificate.
  • This option can apply both to you who have immigrated to Sweden and to you who return after working in the EU/EEA but have not been a border worker or a temporary returnee.
