Kivra
Do you pay your membership fee via Kivra? Then we recommend switching to direct debit or e-invoice – it’s easier for you and helps us keep the fee low. You can make the switch quickly and easily through your bank.
Do you use Kivra?
Then the invoice will be sent there automatically. If you've ever used Kivra, for example when filing your taxes, the invoice from Akademikernas a-kassa will be delivered there.
We recommend direct debit or e-invoice
We constantly work to keep the membership fee low. One way to reduce our costs is for members to use direct debit (the safest and cheapest!) or e-invoice. These payment methods also result in the fewest missed payments.
How to unsubscribe
If you don’t want the invoice sent to Kivra, log in to your Kivra account and remove Akademikernas a-kassa as a sender. You can also call Kivra’s customer service at 0770-457 000 for assistance. The invoice will then be sent to you on paper. Please note that sending a paper invoice costs us nearly 30 SEK per month.
25% deduction on your unemployment fund fee – Skatteverket handles it automatically
You receive 25 percent of your unemployment fund fee back through a tax credit. The deduction is automatic, and you don’t need to take any action.
Akademikernas a-kassa submits annual income statements to Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency) for all members – both those who pay directly to us and those who pay via their union. Skatteverket calculates your tax credit, and the amount is pre-filled in your tax return.
Have you been a member of another unemployment fund during the year? That fund will have submitted the income statements for that period to Skatteverket.
