When did you receive your compensation decision?

Sick, on parental leave or studying

Haven’t worked in the past year? In certain situations, older income can be used to meet the income requirement for compensation. This may apply if you’ve been on parental leave, ill, or studying full-time. You can go back as far as five years. The income basis is always calculated as a 12-month average — even if you worked for a shorter period.

Income below 11,000 SEK?

State in your application if any month had income below 11,000 SEK. If you’ve been on parental leave, ill, or studying full-time, older income—up to five years back—may count toward compensation.

Have you been employed?

In Mina sidor, you provide details about your previous employment. We then retrieve your income information from Skatteverket to assess your eligibility for compensation.

To-do list in Mina sidor

Once you’ve submitted your application, you’ll receive a personal to-do list showing what we need from you in order to process your compensation. As a case officer reviews your application, each item will be checked off one by one.

Run your own business?

If you're self-employed and become unemployed, you must confirm you're no longer active. If you've earned income from your business for 6+ months alongside a job, you may apply to keep it during your compensation period.
