If you haven't been working due to parental leave or sick leave we can base your benefits on the work you had prior to your leave. We call time that can be disregarded "överhoppningsbar tid".

Months that you received sickness benefit or parental benefit full time or for the most part of a month, can be disregarded. Your unemployment benefit can in the se cases be calculated on the average salary you had twelve months before the period of sickness or parental leave.

How do I certify this?

We receive information about you leave from the social insurance office, but also write in your application that you have been on leave.
