Certify work within the EU/EEA/Switzerland

After working in the EU/ EEA or Switzerland, working hours, income and insurance periods must be certified with a special certificate, called PDU1. We can help you to apply.

You can apply for the certificate yourself
The fastest way to get a PDU1 certificate is to apply yourself from these countries: Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Great Britain, Germany and Austria.

If we are to apply for your PDU1 we will need these general information from you:

  • your full name
  • your Swedish social security number
  • ID number or social security number in the country of employment
  • Your last address in the country of work
  • your employment period (s) in the country of employment
  • contact details of your employer (s)

If you have not worked in the past twelve months, we also need information about what you have done where and when.
